BIOGRAPHY

Marcus Matthews was born as Marcus Petek in January 1963 in Austria/Europe. He is a singer/songwriter, a teacher for vocals and guitar and a music producer with his own music label „mm music productions".
He studied jazz guitar as well as vocals and acting, and he loves to perform many different stiles of music like Soul, Funk, Blues & Jazz just as well like Chansons in his mother language german.
For his Album "Marcus Matthews - All I want", produced and distributed in Los Angeles USA 2001, Marcus decided to change his family name to his english artist name „Matthews" - it´s the first name of his father.
